Stretching& Mobility at Just Knead It

Just Knead It is proud to announce a new range of stretching and mobility services. 

Flexibility Assessment & Personalised Mobility Plan

Not sure where to start? Want a personalised program to help you achieve your physical, health and/or sports performance goals? 

One on One Stretch Sessions 

Get yourself stretched with the help of one of our expert therapists. This session may include some remedial massage techniques to help prep your muscles for a big stretch. Please wear sports clothes or clothes you can move in!

Flexibility Classes 

Partnering with The Bonnie Prince Charles coffee shop on Stanley Street, we're offering ROOFTOP stretch and mobility classes to kick start your day. Double your kick start with a great coffee afterwards! 

This session helps identify areas of your body you need to focus on and teaches you how to do it. You are taught how to use foam rollers, trigger balls, and how to stretch effectively. Each client receives a personalised mobility plan to help achieve your physical, health and sports performance goals  

Your therapist will:
  • Go through a thorough health history and discussion about your physical, health and/or sports performance goals.  
  • Performance a flexibility & mobility  assessment to work out which areas of your body you need to be focusing on and why.
  • Create a plan of attack with you specific to your goals and findings from your screen.
  • Teach you how to stretch and trigger effectively based on your personalised plan. 
  • Send you a copy of your plan for at home via email including instructions on how to perform each exercise.  


We offer classes for the inflexible, the absolute beginner and those who know they need to stretch more but don’t make the time.

Nine out of every ten patients come to us with conditions that are preventable or manageable with foam rolling, stretching and general improvement of posture and flexibility.  We've decided to start running classes that focus on doing just that!

What does a stretching & mobility class involve? 

Sessions are:
  • Fun, short, sharp and over in 45 minutes
  • Involve a range of flexibility techniques including static stretching, foam rolling, trigger ball release and active release techniques. 
  • Delivered by qualified, health professionals who specialise in musculoskeletal issues.
​Classes are tailored to:
  • Increase flexibility and improve posture
  • Decrease aches, pains and tightness
  • Prevent injury
  • Enhance performance and aid in recovery from training
  • Help you spend less time and money getting treatment

How flexible do I need to be to come? 

If touching your toes seems like a distant dream or sometimes you feel a little (completely?) uncoordinated! No problem! We are for the inflexible! Our instructors tailor the class to the individual by showing you different ways to stretch and use the equipment to get the most out of each session.

 We don't want you to feel daunted about stepping into a room full of people that can bend in half! We started these classes because we ourselves needed to stretch more and wanted to find a way to make it fun and interesting!
